I know at E3 Reggie mentioned still having friend codes...but they will be different... did any see what the changes are and if both parties still have to add each other? Because That's mad annoying.

I don't remember any mention of the Friend Codes at the conference. And I haven't seen anything about it on game sites. We'll probably hear more about it next month during a Nintendo Direct or through a gaming magazine or something

I'm still confused about the entirety of Mii Verse. I hope they show off the interface, everything it can do, and UI for the actual system. I'm surprised that they haven't actually done that. I would like to hear the final word on friend codes though.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

Here's to hoping the next Nintendo Direct gives us the information we seek

"We've heard the community feedback on friend codes and we're making it dramatically easier for you to connect with your friends".

"Under the Nintendo Network, which will eventually replace the current system, each user will have a unique account, rather than a friend code for each game they own."

Yeah the FC will act like a username now, which I'm happy with. It sucks having to add numerals and such. I'd rather add a friend's FC once then see their displayname all pretty and proper.

I don't care if we have Friend Codes, I just hope if we do it's one code for all games.

I've quoted that it will be a single account, so it's either by username or a code. Preferably a username.

Streetpass NYC announced a rep stated at the conference that FC will be eliminated.. Although I trust this source a lot, I still hope to here something about it soon from Nintendo.
