I have some old ones in a box. Mostly Marvel. I don't actually read modern comics. I stay up to date with sites like Wikipedia, Comic Vine, IGN, etc.
I know a lot more about the Marvel Universe than I do DC.

Yep, I like both DC and Marvel, but both are having stupid ideas lately. DC is retconning like crazy while Marvel's Avengers vs. X-men is pretty bad. Plus, Marvel is doing a retcon/reboot just like DC...
I do like the New 52 Batman, though. The Court/Night of Owls is not an origin story and actually brings something new and good to the table.
Batman Earth One was... Okay. It isn't nearly as bad as some people say, but it's nothing really new.
I am waiting to get my pre-order of the Spider-Island book, my brother really wanted to get it.
Other than that, I have been buying some classics, like The Dark Knight Returns, Spiderman: Kraven's Last Hunt, Silver Surfer Requiem, and the O'Neil Question books (when the Question shifts from an objective standpoint to a more eastern philosophy).
I also recently downloaded all the Static books, as they don't sell the Milestone books any more (although I own Static issue 1 and Static Rebirth of the Cool). Static has potential, but they really ruined him during the New 52. Apparently the writer had no say in the story and the others just tried to cash out on Static.
For third party stuff, whenever I have the chance, I looks for comics based on Moorcock's characters, like the Elric: The Balance Lost Series. Some of the Elric stuff has been published by Marvel, DC, and Vertigo, though. Yesterday I was able to get a book I wanted for years, Michael Moorcock's Multiverse.

I'm a big Green Arrow fan...can't wait to see Oliver Queen tear it up on the new Arrow show on CW

I love Green Arrow, too, but the New 52 GA left much to be desired.
