If you've pre ordered the console, than you shouldn't worry about getting there early. Unless you want to be the first and/or get home faster. I'm leaving at 5:00PM for my GameStop just because I want to get home faster ( plus it's nice being there early in my opinion). If you haven't pre ordered, than yes you should worry.

Yeah, then I probably won't be going to a midnight launch. Sorry for all the questions, but how did you know your gamestop is having a midnight launch? I heard they weren't going to. Or did you just call and ask? Thanks `^^

A store will usually have a midnight launch depending on the amount of pre orders ( or it's popularity). Not to mention most consoles have midnight launches unless they're remodels ( super slim PS3 and 3DS XL for example don't have midnight launches). Since the Wii U is sold out in both retail and online in every GameStop in the country. It's likely that most GameStop stores in the country will have a midnight launch. I did ask the employees in my GameStop and they said they are having one ( they're not stereotypical employees, they know their stuff and are really friendly. I talk to them every time I go there. They admit product pushing, but they have to do it. Even though all they do know is just say if you want to pre order anything else or have Power Up Rewards card,which I do.).
