I think so it will be out so its its a console seller. If its not nintendo should sack there launch game picker lol

It's not a matter of launch game picking. It's a matter of whether the developers are done making the game or not. A few launch window titles may make it to the launch day date. Reggie specified on that when we saw the announcement for price and date. And just because it might be a console seller doesn't mean it will be a launch title. Super Smash Bros. Melee was a system seller and it was a launch window title.

Well the Wii U might have the smaller community... but these still will be around 5-50 thousand people on daily telling from sales, and the previous community, and it will be the most HD version..

I currently have it preordered on another system. I keep debating whether or not to get it instead on wii u. The only problem I have is I am concerned it will have such a smaller online community. Any thoughts?

Same here got it on ps3. Planing on paying it off first wk of oct.
I was thinking about getting it on the wii u since i probably wont have a game for it unless i get one xmas. But i still think the other systems online will be better since more people have play the older version on the system vs new game on a new system.

Come on, if u were multi million dollar invester in nintendo, and they said, "black ops 2 will be available for every console but wiiu because we wud rather u bought zombiu , how quickly wud u pull ur money out

im really sure about the fact that with the wii u will born a huge nintendo online comunity, because the wii online infrastucture was awful , nintendo must work hard on theyr server to offer a good online service

AND OFC making first party games with online multiplayer... this one is important and for the moment they are doing it wrong with nintendo land for example and other games

I wouldn't be pulling any money out if I was an investor and they said that. Because I know that Black Ops 2 would be a big boost for the console and they weren't going to release it. I still would put money though on Nintendo because of all of their other games.

It would be nice to get it as a launch title, but if we don't then it's okay because it will be coming probably only a month later. It's a 50/50 chance.

As for the importance of the likes of black ops 2 getting to the wii?Immense the reason the wii is still locked into my attic from not long after I bought it is that all the big fps either didnt come or were watered down.Nintendo better not be leading the fps lovers up the garden path again

Nintendo needs to get these top tier multi platform titles. If it can't get something like Call of Duty right, then we lose chances at other series like GTAV and Battlefield.

I'm not getting it on Launch, as I'm already getting 2 or maybe 3 titles for Launch. However, I am asking BO2 for Christmas along with Batman. :-)

That was because the Wii couldn't handle the games coming out at the time. It simply was strong enough to handle even a standard port. The only advantage you were getting with Wii FPS games was the use of the Wii Remote for aiming, if that's your preference.

The Wii U won't suffer the same fate. As we've heard, Treyarch is going full steam with making the Wii U version of Black Ops II the same, and given their history with the Call of Duty franchise on the Wii, I'm more than positive they'll know when they've nailed it.

As for FPS games in general, please don't forget what Gearbox has been saying about Aliens: Colonial Marines on the Wii U. I believe the general line was "The Wii U version does things (graphics) that the others simply can't do." It comes straight from the horse's mouth and you can't knock that.

The Wii U can and will handle the FPS genre of games. I know there are those here who would be 'meh', but it is the fastest growing genre and you might as well care that the Wii U gets the full deal instead of half-baked for its future successes.

Not sure about the 3d but they did say it would have everything the other systems would have and they seemed to stress on that point so if the others have it good chance it will as well but that is a guess. The lonely way to check is matey check the boxes at game stop I haven't checked them yet butifthey have it it might tell you on it.

After seeing the features of the Wii U version, I really wanted it. Only reason why I'm not switching my PS3 pre-order to Wii U is because I have the Care Package edition paid off already. If they show a Care Package for Wii U, then heck yeah I'll switch.
