About this game well:
Agatsuma Entertainment is producing a 3DS exclusive sidescroller action RPG ala of Nexon's Dungeon Fighter called Code of Princess.
The game is being visually hand drawn by the talented Ninu Nishimura of Street Fighter fame. Code of Princess is a traditional 'beat-'em-up' at heart that tales the story of an armored princess who takes up a sacred blade to protect her father's kingdom from the monstrous horde that would sink into the abyss of oblivion. The game will feature experience points and level building. It is set for a Japan 2012 Spring release while we in the West will more than likely find out more about the game at E3 2012.
-Scared Hymn
''The game plays very similarly to Guardian Heroes. It is a beat 'em up that uses a rail system. There are a couple of new mechanics in the game, but the core experience is fairly similar. Code has actually undergone extensive balancing and performance upgrades since the JP version was released, so there are going to be some pleasant surprises in store for anyone that has played the original version.
The story deviates a TINY amount depending on which character you choose. There are a couple missions that unlock when you use different characters, but the overall plot arc is the same. Players will want to replay the game to try out the ridiculous number of characters you can use (all of the enemies and NPCs are playable after a certain point). And there's also online co-op and versus. Oh, and a ton of Bonus Quests (basically doubles the single player content).''
You can play co-op with people
Versus play
Oh and the game comes out tomorrow.

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

I've never actually heard of this...
Not a lot of people have..seems to be flying under the radar..we did a preview of it on the podcast...its sad that it may not sell well. It's a spiritual successor of the great Saturn game Guardian Heroes. It's by the same guy and some other ex-Treasure members.

The game is being localized by Ghostlight, they are pretty slow with localizations so i wouldn't be expecting the PAL region to get it any time soon.So there's no European?Australia release date yet?

The music and sound effects are also pretty solid. The voice acting is superb.
Gameplay is damn good. Depending on the character you choose, it will change up quite a bit. While Solange is slow with her big sword, Ali is super quick.
Overall the story is pretty good and quite funny. So far I'd give this a 9.5 out of 10

So I'm about to beat the game, but all the bonus content will keep me busy for a long while...as well as online play. I really only have 2 complaints. 1) for multiplayer matches you enter lobbies to play...downside.. when the level ends you have to remake/re-enter the lobby every time..it gets annoying. Also bosses can get cheap. They always attack faster than you and they sometimes get you on a never ending juggling attack of doom...because you can't escape...and will get frustrated and die lol
Other than those 2 minor irks for me...love this game. Highly recommend it

Have your review for Friday! Kekekekekekeke XD
That said... I completely agree about the online, I actually have more complaints on that.
The voice acting in this game is seriously quality... This makes me SOOO happy seeing as VLR is coming out next week.

I'm saying this cause there's so much replay on this game and I was looking at the versus options and pretty much gave me an idea.
