I thought BO2, Mass Effect 3 and FIFA 13 were coming with online gamechat?
I read it from somewhere (can't remember where) and it said that you needed something like a Turtle Beach to talk through the games.

Why complicate things? Not everyone has a computer to use Skype. Derp.

If they are reading these forums, chances are they have a device that Skype can run on.

this feature is greatly needed, its amazing to use and takes away the need for any use of another device.

We are but a grain of salt compared to the amount of potential Wii U buyers as a whole..

Unfortunately its already pretty obvious there is no cross gaming chat, seeing as Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed is confirmed as having NO voice chat support on Wii U.
With any luck Nintendo will get a clue and add support in a firmware update, but it sucks they didn't realise how useful this feature is from day one
Its one of the drawbacks of their "we do not look at our competition" attitude, as if they had they would have seen PS3 users begging for cross-game chat for years now.

The bad news is that there is no cross game chat... The good news is that you can video chat with your friends even during game play The light around the home button on the game pad will blink to notify you of an incoming call. I guess is not as good as cross game but it will do just fine until Nintendo hopefully includes cross game chat in a firmware update
