Why would I "subscribe" to some random newsletter whenever I could just use IGN/gonintendo.com/mynintendo/nintendo3dsblog or various other websites that've consistently brought me good news?

They barely send any e-mails. We send some more e-mails but not too much.The official Nintendo Newsletter is good enough for me.

Eh, no point.
My email hasn't been checked for more than a year. It's probably toxic bomb made of spam, notifications for various sites, porn links, Nintendo and Sony competition adverts, and some college announcements that are probably important... probably.
