"Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced earlier today that the Wii U Plaza will be called WaraWara Plaza in the West. WaraWara is Japanese and translates to “bustling” in English. In the Plaza you can see what other fellow gamers are playing, as well as what gamers are talking about. Here’s all the information you need about MiiVerse from todays Nintendo Direct".

So they wanna use a Japanese name for the English version, and an English(ish) name for the Japanese version. Silly Nintendo!

I like it, it stands out along with being unique. Though I do wonder why they kept the Japanese name for the plaza.

I'm repeating myself but Bill Trinen clearly said they kept it because a lot of people liked "Wara Wara Plaza" so that's why they kept the development name.

It only takes about a year of intense studying to become fluent in Japanese.Yeah, and I love it, I'm thinking of learning Japanese, I'd love to live there, thier culture is awesome, I think they are really nice people
