Each one of Ubisoft’s Wii U games will support the company’s Uplay service. This provides access to exclusive rewards and advice.

Ubisoft’s launch games offer the following items:

• Just Dance 4 – Call Me Maybe Alternate Version (40 Uplay units), Unlocks the Call Me Maybe Alternate version for play in Just Dance 4
• Assassin’s Creed III – 3000£ (10 units), in Single-Player
• Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth – Trials Pack (40 units), Unlocks 8 new trials
• ZombiU – The Last of Them (40 units), Unlocks new Survival Game mode in Multiplayer

You’ll be able to download a UPlay Wii U Application from the eShop. Ubisoft says users will be able to access the service “from the Home Menu, access the Uplay Wii U Application directly from the menu of the Home Menu, even if they do not own a Ubisoft game.”

By downloading the app, you’ll also be able to view Ubisoft’s latest trailers along with information and news about its games.

Cool, not sure I really like uplay points though it's confusing I'd rather use nintendo points only

UPlay points are only earned by playing Ubisoft games...it's a cool way to get extras for a game really, been using it for years with their X360 and PC games.

I really hope they add the uplay content that they have in ACIII for the other consoles, for example Ezio's costume.

Personally I dislike Ubisoft UPlay & other crap on games making me forced to be connected to the internet just to play the single-player. Assassin Creed servers went down on the PC and people could not even play anything. Complete rubbish in the end, which has been patched and/or changed around a little on some titles so I have heard. Anyway, I am no fan of trading off my games or anything, but I probably would pawn ZombieU off if it was like this internet mombo jumbo.

As far as achievements for content that is cool. As long as this is stuff that does not limit your play & they keep the built in DLC through this so we are not forced to pay for it. Blah, I dislike paying for stuff already on a game disc. =/

"The Last of Them". Uh.... yeah.

^^^^ Indeed, and of course it has to be something multiplayer related. <_<

How exactly will this work? Do I download the app, and put in some sort of verifcation code that I own the game to unlock the additional content? I have Assassin's Creed 3, and would like to know how to optain that currency.

It makes sense. Thanks for the help. In Assassin's Creed 2 however I recieved all the Uplay stuff as free DLC. I don't recall ever being asked to join Uplay. Perhaps, it functions differently for each console?

I really like UPlay, been using it (well for the free stuff). Too bad theirs only two good Ubi games out right now. Honestly I never knew UPlay existed before. I also think Nintendo should buy UPlay and use it as a thing for Nintendo games also.

I'm amazed that Ubi has gotten Uplay stuff for ALL Ubisoft Wii U games.
