I think it's a stupid idea, it's making kids fake their age if their parents don't pay and Nintendo could have less Miiverse users!

Alright, if you actually think about it. It is smart, before you go bad mouthing Nintendo you should think WHY they did this. They did it so if something happens they can track it back to the parents and say well you put in the credit card so we're not responsible.

Surely they should charge 50 cent for 18+ to make an account because the ability to pay by card for an account proves you're much more likely not to be faking your age
