Banned because that's the main reason I'm shocked that there is a great (Ie. Much much better than decent) Visual Novel database, yet only a few slightly-better-than-decent databases of any other kind... Outside of Japan, VN is the by far most Niche genre there is...

EDIT: Double banned because you once claimed that you were a Blazblue fan. Blazblue is a Visual Novel.

Banned 'cause I think Wii 2 Blog could really use a game database of its own. One that is properly integrated into the sitem and is totally future-proof and simple to administrate. With all due respect to Adam's work, 3DS Buzz's database is a pain to work with.

Double-banned 'cause I've run into a bit of a dilemma with the new database. I can't decide whether to store release dates in a custom field, a new column in the _posts table, or a new table entirely. Currently leaning towards the entirely new table.

Banned 'cause it's not a design choice. It's a program structure choice. I think creating a new table is ultimately the better option, as it will let me take advantage of MySQL's blindingly fast ability to fetch data.

Double-banned 'cause a review copy of Zelda: OoT isn't quite gonna work out. Not the way I want it to, anyway.

Wertville is banned because Blazblue is not a Visual Novel, it's a fighting game. the style of the story is that of a Visual Novel, but it's still a fighting game. Therefore, my statement still stands.

Banned because it is a Visual Novel with Fighting Game elements, not the other way around

'Visual Novel' is always the dominant genre; It can't exist unless it is used substantially. Fire Emblem contains both CG and a large story with ADV styled text... However, it has no narrative and therefore is not considered a Visual Novel.

I ban myself for being confusing, but it makes sense in my head, so all is ok.
