This game looks... amazing. o_o Wow, I did not expect to be this interested in a Sonic racing game, but there you go.
And Wreck-It Ralph being playable is pretty awesome.

also it has lots of hidden characters i really want to know who they are + 25 tracks + all that wii u features and online... a perfect Mario kart substitute

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

This completely blows anything that Mario Kart has ever shown, and I really doubt that Mario Kart Wii U, or whatever they'll label it, will hold a candle to it.

Fingers crossed for Wonder Boy as an unlockable.

Crap I've ordered this but the gamespot review has the wii u version as inferior.

However it sounds like its only inferior because of a forced game patch when you go online so might be worth disabling internet access before playing in offline modes until a better patch is available.

Wouldn't bet on it. I enjoyed the first Sonic racing on Wii more than Mario Kart Wii. Best arcade racer since Diddy Kong Racing.

Of course this is good, the first one was excellent, arguably better than any Mario Kart game.

who knows, first of all it will be the mario kart with most advanced graphics ever, i expect amazing and awesome eviroments and tracks, lots of characters and kart customization, game modes etc... and the first mario kart with some good online ( MK7 on the 3ds online is nice it also has "clans" or groups to join and compete to each others )

If the past games are any hint, it won't be that much different, the gliding and underwater sections were so brief and barely change gameplay, I hope they seriously do something good and not just feed of everyone's nostalgia, I'm sick of seeing rehashed tracks and everyone eating it up.

you know what can be nice for the next mario kart? introduce more franchises on it and turn it into the "RACING SUPER SMASH BROS", all mario karts are only mario characters... peach baby peach birdo yoshi etc... well donky kong is there too, they need to introduce Zelda characters, metroid, fire emblem, LOL that would be awesome

imagine a mario kart game racing with samus on a Hyrule field track : D
