Me too man. I thought that I had the decision made to return it when it arrived, but after reading this review along with Destructoid and Eurogamer I think it might be a keeper.

Yeah I just watched a couple extended game play videos, and I think it looks really intense. I think that the bad reviewers are either ADHD or wussies.

I was hesitating opening my copy because of the reviews. I took and chance and couldn't have been happier. It's awesome when the guy helping u audio comes from the game pad. It's totally immersive iMO. the zombies are fast too which makes it harder. So far so good!!

I just picked up a copy of this today for $20 out of pocket at Gamestop

$49.99 used after rewards discount...had a $20 off used product coupon from rewards. Returned the AWFUL screen protectors for gamepad for $10. Paid the rest with credit so no taxk.

Can't wait to start playing.

a few bad reviews, many good reviews. Everyone I've watched play it has been having fun even with the stale melee combat which isn't bad enough to make the game bad as a whole.

Played it for about an hour and I'd score it an 8 or 8.5. There really isn't much it does wrong. Use of the Gamepad is done extremely well. Gameplay is solid, atmosphere is intense. I for one, never had a problem with repetetive whack-a-mole gameplay if it felt right (like Dead Island does), and there's a good amount of weight and reaction to the swinging in ZombiU. It's not something that'll get old quickly.

Not a chance bro......the thing that had me so hyped for this game in the first place was that people were comparing it to games like Dark Souls and The Witcher 2. I'll send you a friend request when I'm up and running. It will probably be Bemore or something similar if it's available.
