Yet another "problem", but not as bad as all the others:

Its actually not the gyro and accelerometer that is the culprit for most of the noise. The stylus as well as the face buttons make a lot of noise when the GamePad is shaken.

+1 mine makes a noise on the right hand side still even without the stylus out. As if there's tiny some loose plastic bits rattling around in there.

My 3DS doesn't make a noise when i shake it about, only when the stylus is in place, if i remove it there is no noise at all.

That's strange, makes a noise for everyone else with it out.

Guess it makes you stupid since that doesn't solve the problem? Why should someone have to take out the stylus and risk losing it? IT IS MEANT TO STAY IN THE GAMEPAD WHEN NOT IN USE.

I've noticed in 2 different people's videos yesterday that something was rattling, and I thought, "what the hell? Is that the Wii U?"

Here's the 2 videos I was talking about. 2 totally different people.

I have sold my Wii U, so if I deleted you from NN before I sold it, or haven't accepted your friend request since, this is why.

It's the ABXY buttons that make this sound. If you hold your GamePad so the screen is facing the floor and lightly tap the ABXY buttons you will see they are "loose" and that is what the shaking sound is. Or if you hold them all down and shake the the GamePad then the noise stops, except for the things inside the controller that need to move.

If Apple had made this, the device would have design tolerances so small, the buttons would be perfect. But then Wii U might cost $549, not $349.

I noticed this, but I didn't think it was much of an issue.

LOL, so all the buttons are loose? Not really a problem but I thought Nintendo were all for build quality?
