They did not have any reviews as yet,so I am curious as to why I would upgrade my older unit.
Any thoughts on this.

Hey Ken, Welcome to the forums - sorry you didn't get to warm of a welcome right away. I would pick the system up for many reasons. It's overall a great value and a great console - there are already plenty of games to choose from. Also the Wii is no longer supported - so you won't be seeing much in the new games department on it. This is Nintendo's next gen - HD graphics - Nintendo classics, and new great 3rd party titles (something the Wii didn't have much of other than a lot of shovelware). The system is connected online through the Miiverse and I've been enjoying the online connectivity with all my friends and fellow gamers...its the facebook of gaming really. To top it off - the Gamepad is really cool and the eShop has tons of good downloadable titles already! Hope you make the jump to the Wii U and stick out on the forums..you will find people are cool - I don't think Goku really read your post right.
**sigh** -_-you came to the wrong place if you need convincing to buy a Wii U
Where else to turn but the largest Wii U community? You didn't help sell a system we are all enjoying..thats for sure goomba
Your supposed to introduce yourself not give us offers on Wii U's, read the rules please.
Goku come on man, I know your better than this, did you read his post? he isn't giving anyone offers..he is just saying what walmart has and if he should jump into the new system.

I can't help it man SO many new members are doing it lately even though they are told to read the rules and introduce themselves, it's getting really annoying now, I like to get to know more about the new members when they join, not this. it should be a status update or a post in another part of the forum, Mind you lately this place has become duplicate post galore

All of us were new members at one time - it doesn't matter if your old or new man. Just want to be a good model of the forums here. I like to think these forums aren't Elitist like some I've been on or rule nazi's like others...thats why I love it so much here. I think everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt - I never read forum rules on any forums since they should generally be all common sense lol.
