Hello,
Im new to this forum, but i do have some questions

The wiiu pro controller can be charged with a USB plug, but can you charge your wiiu pro controllers on one of the wiius usb ports when the wiiu is turned off?

Im asking this because most devices such as modern HTS and the old wii(in non wiiconnect24 mode) shut down the power even for the usb ports, i know that the 360 allows you to charge things even when the console is off. But is the wiiu also capable of this (charging pro controllers via usb when console is off)?

Hello and welcome. I'm not sure whether you can, but to be honest I doubt it. Like computers, they're required to be switched on if you want to make use of the USB ports.

Yes, the console has to be on, similar to charging peripherals on the PS3.

are you sure, i cant find it in the ign review, it only talks about the charging proces of the wiiu gamepad and not the wiiu pro controller(that looks like a 360 controller)


also how much time did you get out of the wiiu gamepad with a full charge, real world estemates (not the 3 to 5 hour bs from nintendo, same was said about 3ds and it didnt even last 3 hours)
