That's actually quite impressive. When you realise he's dropping it onto concrete as opposed to floorboards or carpet, it really shows how durable the gamepad is.

Cool. Glad it wasnt one of those videos where they just buy the new things and smash them just cause.

Good to know the wii u gamepad can take a fall even tho i dont plan on giving mines one.

I'm still buying the nerf armor for it. When I get mad, I tend to throw things!

I'm buying a Wii U because of this. Screw the games I'm just going to drop my Wii U gamepad all day long.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

Someone who bought a Wii U on japanese launch day broke his gamepad screen...trying to put the screen protector on.

Posted Image

The drop test may have proved that the gamepad's hard to break when you drop it on the floor, but this person must have dropped the gamepad on something besides the floor to cause damage like that.

I'm very surprised! I was a little worried about letting my dad's friend's kid play this thing, but now I see that I can ease my worries quite a bit.
Still might buy the "nerf" thing for it just to be safe, though.
