No. Disks can hold a lot more data for a lot less. To my understanding, the reason cartridges have little load times in most cases is because there's a direct contact between the teeth of the cartridge and the cartridge slot of the console. Disks, on the other hand, have to be read by a laser.I got told that cartridges have next to no loading time on games because they can hold more or something, is that true?
