Where is the Ethernet connection?

I've been using it wifi but have since moved it by router, was just gunna plug it in but infant see the Ethernet connection? What the ogreizzle? It's the black premium console..an I just being blind?

Unfortunately you will need one of these: Wii Lan Adapter It may say Wii but it's listed under Wii U on the official Nintendo Store site. Nintendo seems to think the best way to use the internet is through WiFi which is still somewhat unstable and slower than a direct connection.

I'm surprised you didn't know that there's no built in Ethernet connection.

WiFi SHOULD be slower than a direct connection, but for some bizarre reason on the Wii U direct connection is actually slower.

I had no reason to look until tonight. I've moved my TV to opposite corner of my living room tonight,the router is also there so thought is just plug my wiiU in now..then was like wtf? Lol
No prob..wifi has been awesome anyway for black ops online..no issues
