Just got my Wii U today so downloading an update at the moment. Does anyone know if this will include today's update too or will that be a separate one after this one?

If you're connecting for the first time today, the update you receive should include the one released yesterday.

All worked fine & I've got everything sorted now & packed away til Christmas

I noticed when I registered my Nintendo ID that it says do I want to use an existing one. Does that mean you can now have your account on 2 or more separate consoles rather than being locked to just one?

I don't think so. That hasn't changed to my knowledge. I suspect its only asking if you want to use one you've already created. I think its going to be introduced on the 3DS as well at some point so its probably just a standard question in the event you've created an ID on one and want to also use it on the other.

When I go to the wahoo it gives me an error code 111-9001

satellite (wildblue). they slowed it down cuz we went over our threshold, but they were supposed to speed it up today. they didn't.

Nintendo really need to state before you download the update what the changelog is. I know the PS3 states what changes or additions are within the update.
Even if the current upate is only "further improvements to overall system stability & Other minor adjustments have been made to enhance user experience.
I would really like that addition at somepoint.

I agree with everybody saying that...
1. The updates download too slow.
2. The update did nothing menu loading wise

I didn't have any problems yet with my WiiU (no freezing) so I was kinda looking forward to an update that would speed the menus up... but alas, we're still waiting on this one.

Hey Guys, Joined to see if anyone else is having this issue. I download this update. but when it gets about 30% through the install it errors out and restarts the console.

I tried formatting the console to see if it helped (it didn't )

Anyone else come across this?

What's it freezing on? I've not had any issues with mine..wondering whether its just a disc/game issue.

I've got zombieU, blackops2 on disc. Downloaded trine2. These all work splendidly..miiverse I go on a lot aswel. No issues..before or after updates.

Its freezing on the notifications / messaging part of the menu. Always just there....nowhere else. Play games no problem , browse eshop no problem , go through other parts of menu no problem. Its this one issue. Weird
