Based what he has said he seems to be very misinformed. The rumored hardware (from people like the head of Epic games) suggests a mid 500 series gpu, which doesn't have the power to do the things he is taliking about. Furthermoe things like a consumer friendly oculus rift are still a while of and will only be suitable more or less for fps games. This next gen is going to be like the current gen, it will just look a whole lot better and as a result of the extra power open up all new opportunities for games. There may be a new style of controller but nothing to far from what is currently available (meaning something like a connect that works etc). I also imagine ftp etc will become more prominent on consoles along with more ways of purchasing games etc.

All of the hardware stuff is probably true since we've heard it many times before (Playstation Headset, using an APU, Xbox most powerful, Kinect 2, Microsoft Glasses). I'm skeptical about most of the games information, but the Wii U stuff might be true. We have seen Nintendo recently pay developers for exclusives rather than funding their own full fledged projects.
