I don't agree with everything in this review, but it still contains good information. I don't agree with the wired portal bashing, because I don't really care about that.

. Well the review gave it a 9. It mentioned that the game seemed to run the best on the Wii U, and that the Gamepad can display character stats and the objectives.

I was planning on picking up skylanders giants in a week or two, I couldn't find any reviews on it on youtube (odd imo) so thanks for the link!

I doubt it. This game comes with action figures and a piece called a portal.

I already have two portals for my old Wii. I would rather not buy a third and get Tree Rex / Cynder / Jet Vac again. I am in Europe, and my Wii U showed a Skylanders bubble in the Mii plaza that took me to the eShop, but it did not find anything there. So I figured maybe it was available on the US eShop. Most likely a video/demo then?
