Dark Souls II got announced recently, which excited me as I really like Demon Souls and Dark Souls despite the incredible difficulty of both of them. The games are known for being pretty hard, but not unfairly hard. It seems from the trailer that maybe there will be more of an storyline this time around, while still focusing on gameplay. Dark Souls kind of had a story line, but it was pretty much focused on gameplay. What are your thoughts?

500K signatures needed? Yeah.. maybe if every single pre-order person signed it, and all 50k in Europe signed it, plus another 50k people signed it.. we'd reach that. But let's be realistic, that petition will never hit 500k. Ever.

I think 100k is a more realistic number and will show that the game can be profitable if ported to the Wii U

Really looking forward to it. Just got into dark souls recently and I'm loving it. Difficult though.

I signed both, but I would be shocked if it ever happened. From Software probably doesn't have the resources to develop for the Wii U, and would likely see it as not profitable. Nintendo would have to get involved with this one, and From has only ever brought one game to a Nintendo console.

The petition is at over 6,300 at the moment, I signed it. Wii U owners showing an interest for this is good at the least in that it'll show the developers that there's an audience for hardcore games.
