Hey guys one thing thats really started to annoy me playing the game is when the map radar starts beeping/scanning all the time, at first you had to do it manually by pressing on the gamepad. Now its scanning all the time by itself. It started when that guy from the lab gave you missions. Is it possible to turn it back as it used to be? Perhaps my game is bugged? Thanks

I have that as well, I believe it is a reward from completing the mission. Personally I like it as it keeps everything tense, but I can see how it could annoy some.

My issue is it often isn't picking up things that I can see to be moving, which is a bug that has caused me to die many times.

This is correct. The doctor gives you an upgrade for your pad. There is no way of reversing it or refusing the upgrade- its mandatory.

Nah it's not a bug it's an upgrade. It's weird at first but I got used to it over time. :s

Lol @ this thread.

first you need to add spoiler to the title of this thread. your messing the game up for those that have not played yet..
then its an upgrade of the radar.
and finally it will pik up animals so its best to scan everything in that area so that you will know what is what.
Also non moving zombies or playing dead (lol) ones will not show up on the radar.
