I honestly wouldn't know, but I heard the colors look "washed out" something about RNG.

I confirm. My current setup IS on my 24" computer monitor (Asus VW246H). It works wonders. If you want sound, your monitor needs to have built-in speakers (like mine). Otherwise, you'll only get the sound from the GamePad.If you mean it has an HDMI port then yes.
By the way, guys, HDMI also transports audio.

My screen does not have internal speakers. is there any way to attach standard external speakers to the console?

Well, from my experience you can really see how ugly console graphics look when you're playing on a monitor, especially when you're sitting up close, I'd much rather play on a TV, plus getting the audio is a pain when you're using a monitor.

I believe that there are devices that would extend the HDMI signal but let you plug in headphones or speakers in to get the sound from the HDMI cable...My screen does not have internal speakers. is there any way to attach standard external speakers to the console?
