So I finally got my Afterglow AGU. 1S (the headset that connects to pretty much all the consoles, pc and mobile devices). I was able to set it up to the Wii U and have sound coming through just fine, just can't seem to get chat function to work.
Give me a holla if you've got some ideas.

Nintendo hasnt enabled usb chat for whatever reason yet...so your best bet is a headphone/mic splitter adapter and a 2.5 to 3.5mm cable from your xbox cable jack on your headset to the mic jack of the splitter plugged in to your gamepad.
Bit of a hybrid solution atm but i think nintendo will fix this soon.

I'll be watching this thread. I was considering getting the Headbanger PDP headset that was released on the Wii. Can't find anyone online that has used it yet on their Wii U.
