hi, im Tina, from Sudbury in England, I bought my hubby a wii u for Christmas, went to play it today and the light is just flashing blue, were gutted, have been fans of Nintendo for years, still have Nintendo 64 console here

Hi Tina, sorry to hear that, have you synced the gamepad with the console, if so has the console been updated ?

hiya, havnt been able to, put it on, get flashing blue light on console and the game pad does come on though, if you press sinc you get shapes on gamepad but tv wont get signal

Welcome to the forums.
I have The same issue, I've looked into it and I can't find any Fixes. The gamepad works, but there's no screen whatsoever on the TV and the light on the console flashes blue. It seams to be quite common.
I'm taking mine back to get a refund or replacement tomorrow.

im really gutted, as is my son and husband, ive contacted Nintendo and they are giving me label so I can send console to them

I don't know what else to suggest, i have heard there has been issues with the hdmi lead with certain TV's so maybe try another TV to see if the console works, or even another hdmi lead, (i have not used the Nintendo lead myself)

I hope you can get it sorted out soon.
