I have had the pleasure of playing this game for several hours. Each track is gorgeous. One small detail for example that was implemented was that in one track, you see a dragon in a glass tube. Later during the race, the glass tube is broken and the dragon has disappeared.

This is a must-buy Wii U game. It isn't exactly easy to learn, but mastering it is rewarding. There are a number of things I wish were different though. Most of them are nitpicks but I'm sure each critical individual would feel the same way. It's a great game, but it's not perfect. Get it though, at $40 especially... have some fun.

My score: 8.9/10

Slightly worse gameplay? Lol, what game are you playing? Sonic Racing Transformed is a much more balanced game than Mario Kart.

I love this game, the map Samba Studios is so much fun to play, and the bonus outrun tracks are amazingly reconstructed. This game is worth buying, and i definitely like this game over Mario Kart. The only MK games to beat this are the original and double dash. Outstanding

How does the online work? Is it good? I only have Nintendo Land and I love Mario Kart Wii so I though I would probably enjoy this one. I'm not a Sonic fan though, and I've never played any other SEGA game so I'm not sure about this game.

I'm not really a sonic fan either--- But i love this game! There are plenty of other characters you might recognise, even if you don't think you've played a SEGA game. Super monkey ball is a sega game, even. The online works well and you can play with your friends in a private match, battle in many modes (Capture the chao, Battle, Boost race, Battle race) or just race normally. The online uses a point system (Similar to VR but a lot better but ragequitters use the points system to their advantage, just as in MK.) The online may take long to find a race, but this is because not many people have the game and play it online (Evident if you look on the online leaderboards). Best game on the system so far.

ive just picked this up,hope its good,ill post my thoughts later after ive played it,bit dissapointing to hear not many are online on it though

There is quite a big amount online, but many have 0 wins and 0 losses- This is what i am saying.

Hmm I see. I'll try to see if my parents get it for me. I see it hard after buying me the Wii U for 350€ for Christmas though.

This is a great game for those who are fans of Mario Kart (and Sega), of course, but it also stands on its own in some ways...the levels are completely gorgeous!!!
Also, you certainly don't have to be a fan of the previous Sega All Stars Racing game, as I remember buying that one and absolutely disliking it from the start. Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is definitely a great buy though.

Yep after playing this quite a bit i would say its a GREAT game,started off hating it but mostly because i was pants lol it has a learning curve which is quite steep but when you get the hang of it i can only say its great fun online,if you have trouble connecting wireless try a wired connection,it works ok for me but some people have had problems connecting wireless,add a ethernet cable and all fine

Yeah. The worst thing in the game is hearing Shadow say "What the..." without completing the sentence.
