i have been a fan of this franchise since the gamecube release, and i am wondering if anyone has heard anything about an AC for the wii u?

There is no plans for an Animal Crossing on the Wii U as of now. I'd predict in the next 2-3 years. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is complete, it just has to be localized. Nintendo Land is also complete. The EAD team that creates Animal Crossing, with Katsuya Eguchi(the creator of Animal Crossing) created New Leaf and Nintendo Land so now they're probably open for new projects which may include a new Animal Crossing title, which is definately likely because assuming Nintendo would want to push sales in Japan of the Wii U it's a pretty good idea because Animal Crossing: New Leaf has sold about 2 million copies in almost 2 months in Japan already.

A trailer at E3 is possible, but I doubt it. It would take away sales from the 3DS version, people would just wait till the superior HD version would release.

i do plan on getting new leaf for 3ds, and i have all faith that it will do well in the states. it would be cool if they had a wii u version come out to be able to link with new leaf to use special features and such. I guess we just have to play the waiting game until then!

Stop trying to create/spread false rumors please. This clearly is not true if you google that name, nothing comes up and if you look at the records of the games created by the EAD that made Animal Crossing you can tell that they are not in development of any Animal Crossing game atm.

I could do the same in 5 minutes on paint. If your going to make some rumors, at least make them sound somewhat credible. You have no source ect. You use a box art as an example? Well shucks that white box art with a black outlined bunny looks completely real and is the total truth behind what your saying even though there is no evidence.
