I was just wondering how most people play COD Black Ops 2. Make a note why you think one is better than the other. I use the Gamepad, as I have never been a fan of motion controls, but this game looks ripe for them. What do you think?

I tried wiimote yesterday and I couldn't stand it. I'm sure I'd just need to get used to it, but I don't intend to. I love the gamepad, even more than my 360 controller.

After playing Metroid blast, that's the only way I'll ever play a shooter-style game with the Wiimote is if it emulates that.

I hate FPSs using motion controls unless it's Metroid. It feels really weird and awkward. I Remember playing W@W on Wii, it was my first CoD game, it felt weird.Especially after playing CoD on PS360. I play it always on the gamepad, not specifically on it though 'cause I switch to TV sometimes too.

This is kind of why I posted this. I played Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and liked the controls, but I tried BLOPS2 team deathmatch. 1 kill. I then played with the gamepad and got 4 kills. I know, neither one is something to brag about, but I was level one, and the next lowest person was like 39. I never have seen so many one shot kills.

Well if you wanted to get used to it try custom match with bots. You have a much better chance of improving your skill with standards gamepad controls though IMO.

Is it possible to modify the poll at this point? There are other controller options, namely the Classic Controller Pro, which is what I use.

Definately Wiimote and nunchuk is what I'm used to from the original Wii and enjoy playing with. :) I've tried the gamepad out a number of times but find the analog sticks difficult to use and button layout confusing.

Gamepad. I love playing BO 2 with it. I also use the Pro controller sometimes. Btw which button on the Gamepad/Pro controller do I press to call on my scorestreaks?

On controllers you activate scorestreaks by pressing Left on the D-Pad, then Right on the right analog stick. You can switch between streaks if you have multiple streaks available by pressing Up or Down on the right analog stick before pressing Right (look in the bottom right of the TV screen to see which streaks are available).

I'm not a fan of using the Wii mote for a FPS and never have been even on the Wii and now the fact of the matter is that majority of Wii mote Black Ops players i've seen just spray their submachine gun bullets all over the screen hoping to god they'd land a few to get a kill... sub-standard gameplay if you ask me.

You're welcome! And by the way, that should say HOLD Left on the D-Pad and then use the right analog stick

gamepad/pro controler (anything with dual analog) has a advantige over wiimote in this game, unfortianitly. and depending on which game you played it worked well or poorly. the wiimote controls were broken till about 1 and a half weeks ago.

but the advantige for DA comes imply from aimassist, the game does alot to help you aim, making DA/gamepad,ect. easy mode. i can do well with both controlers since im very experainced with both but after they fixed wiimote, only the skilled wiimote players can compete headon agaisnt other players because aimassist is so strong. like those who dont like BO2 wiimote but love metroid's, thats mechanics and balance issues BO2 did poorly.

personly id have wiimote ideal(for proffesinal players) and DA ideal for bad ones, and a even split for the avridge player. simple because its impossible to evenly balance it without giving pro player strong aimassit making the game even easer for them.

simply put, this game failed to balance wiimote and DA. im not worried about feel, as id preffer both keyboard/mouse and motion controls for FPS.

I use the Pro Controller/Gamepad setup. I use the pro controller more because I play online muliplayer with my nephew and he uses the gamepad while I play on the TV. Playing on the gamepad is kinda hard for me because I cant see the enemies that well when they're far away as I can see them on my 50 in tv.
