Note: This used to be a question ON how it works. Now it's a thread DISCOVERING how it works.

It is a mystery on how the ranking system works. You know, the one below your username that says "Goomba" or "Shy Guy" or etc. Well, I've done some research, and I figured out how it works. Well, sort of:

0-9: Goomba
10-19: Spiked Goomba
20-29: Paragoomba
30-39: Shy Guy
40-49: Green Koopa Troopa
50-69: Red Koopa Troopa
70-99: Spear Guy
100-149: Cheep-Cheep
150-199: Blooper
200-249: Spiny
250-299: Bob-omb

300-349: Thwomp

350-399: Bullet Bill

400-499: Dry Bones

500-599: Boo

600-799: Chain-Chomp

800-999: Piranha Plant

1000-1500: Pokey
1500-1999: Hammer Bro.
2000-????:Lakitu
Being a Mod/Admin: Yoshi


You see, we don't know the whole thing yet. So yeah. I'll edit it when we get to learn more.

Also, if your a moderator or an administrator you get the best member title.....ever. It's the Yoshi title.

Only AMAC, David, and Feld0 know this. I don't think they want to announce this, as to make it a surprise for everyone.

Yeah hehe, but if you couldn't tell our administrator is obsessed with one of my favorite characters, Yoshi. So I think that would be unlikely that it would be Mario.
Hes already said that Yoshi was the highest title rank. Also David is another administrator, a great YouTuber (he makes videos about the Nintendo3DS and Wii U), great friend with Feld0, and a blogger. I think that covers most of it.

I'm not just obsessed with Yoshi the character; I obsess over the entire Yoshi species. Hence why the Yoshi rank image is blue - to hopefully make it a little more obvious that it refers to the species, and not the green Yoshi named Yoshi.

But yes, Yoshi is the highest rank. It's not even on the rank list that users rank up through - it's reserved for mods and admins.

David and I have known each other for over a year now. I was among his very first readers on Nintendo 3DS Blog, and we became friends after I emailed him an 8,000-word speculative article about a Yoshi's Island 3DS. We always wanted to do something together, and thewiiu.com is finally it.

3DS Forums and Wii U Forums are actually not that big, as far as "big" forums go. Bulbapedia's forums have well over 3,000,000 posts, for instance. But they are the world's largest 3DS and Wii U communities, respectively.

The admin control panel. It's where I do all the managerial work like creating and editing sections, skinning the site, managing individual member accounts - all that admin stuff. AMAC also has access to a limited version of the ACP that lets him manage accounts.

We got enough evidence to know the ranking system up to 349 or 399 posts. Here's what I know so far.

0-9: Goomba
