i really would not worry about that, just keep it in a well ventilated area, use a dry cloth to remove any surface dust occasionaly, maybe once a month depending on your usage you could use a hoover carefully over the vents (with the nozzle of course lol) or spray with compressed air to remove any dust settling within the wii U's air flow passages

Give it a wipe down daily. I do that with all of my electronics.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I have never had a problem with dust "ruining" any of my consoles, and I've been console-ing since the N64. I usually just wipe the dust off the top of them once there's enough dust to write letters with.

Open up the system and clean it out, then put it back together and lock it up in a safe so no dust can get on it. Do this daily for a dust free Wii U.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

Honestly some people are just paranoid. I've owned consoles since the NES and I've never had a problem with dust.

What's that got to do with anything. I never said dust didn't collect on my consoles. I said I've never had a problem regards dust messing up my consoles.

Sorry, I was just wondering if you were like me and could survive in a vacuum.

I know dust is not going to ruin my system i just like too keep it looking new and nice. I very gently vacumm clean it every three days and wipe it down so it remains fingerprint and dust free 24/7, also when i'm not using it i cover it up.

When I'm done playing I wipe it down, box it up, tape it and then put that in a dust proof bag. I guess its abit annoying when I might go on it 3 or 4 times in the day but atleast its still shining when i put it back out on the middle shelf of my tv cabinet where you don't really notice it :|
..now i need to dust the house and hoover before i get it out again..cant be too careful.
