After reading the topic, http://thewiiu.com/t...s-on-the-wii-u/
I was thinking that Nintendo should revamp the GameCube controller for the Wii U. I think it should be it's own wireless controller, instead of plugging into the Wii Remote. They should also make the d-pad and c-stick bigger, add another "Z" button, and make the triggers pressure senstive (I'm not sure if they are or not), and also make the sticks clickable. What do you guys think?

I'd love that a lot for VC Gamecube games.

All the adequate buttons are already on the Wii U controller.

I don't see why they would.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I can see how this would be helpful for playing GameCube games on the virtual console, considering how the triggers on the WiiU pad are not pressure sensitive like the ones on the GameCube Controller(as far as we know). Just fix the d-pad on it and I'll be happy with it.

That'd be great with the rumours surrounding the DLC of the GameCube.

With the rumors going around with Gamecube downloadable games avalabile for Wii U it would be a great fit just like Tony said. It could be a controller for games that are multiplayer that need enough buttons that are not avalabile on the Wii Remote or Nunchuck alone. Maybe it could be a redesign of the Classic Controller.

I suppose it's a possibility, but I think that if there are Gamecube games on the Virtual Console, they'll just use the Wii U controller. As far as I'm aware (I never actually owned a Gamecube), all the neccesary buttons are on the Wii U controller.

No!!! But I would be sad if I couldn't play N64 games, since I only have a GameCube controller.

It'd also be great if you could play them for normal Wii U games if you can have multiplayer.

Maybe so we don't have to use crappy Wii remotes while playing splitscreen with a friend? As far as I know you can't use multiple Wii U controllers at the same time.

I was thinking that they should do this before they had announced the Wii U, now i think the more likely thing to happen will be a wireless classic controller pro.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

As long as there is a controller that can do it. I couldn't care less about what it looked like or how it connects.
It's not like I'm going to have 4 player Metroid Prime 2 anytime soon.
