Call your local Nintendo repair place ask them if they can take it apart if they can have them order a new shell and go dip the shell then just Have them switch it out.

The Gamepad is glossy as is. Chrome wouldn't do much. Not a bad idea though.

matte finishes work nice especially if your doing a camo type of dip, me I'd like a open country dip.
