Since the other consoles are not coming out until probably late this year why not buy Wii U now or within a few months. Have a try of the console in a local videogame store perhaps? That's what I did and was sold as soon as I laid hands on the GamePad and saw what the console was capable of (Rayman Legends in my case)
You then have a VERY speedy browser built in, the best for any console period. Along with eShop,Netflix, Miiverse, full Wii backwards compatibility etc.

Nintendo must step up and bring all 3rd party support they can... so many of these people will migrate to nintendo. But with just yoshi and bayoneta, things are foggy.

But ps4 is going to cost around 450-550, plus they may have online services as mandatory. Not be able to play offline... Microsoft will do that, and usually both companies go together...
So beyond the console and the games, you must always pay ur phone and net bills, or else u wont be able to play and not be able exchange with ur friends ur games!.... Locked to the system.
Honestly, I wonder, if sony and ms be able to sell more than 15 million pieces over their lifespan... it will decrease dramatically. Gamers always punish companies... Sony and Ms is not an exception.
Now you're just making ridiculous assumptions.
many people will migrate to PC, because the restrictions they add, need to be punished...
Absolute rubbish

Microsoft registered anti-used technology and now all pointing that next xbox, wont play without internet. Sony did as well, they registered anti-used tech via the net. How can u lock the games and register them without internet? So i am not making stupid assumptions. It is just a logical result of their actions.
ps: in my country they posted a Japanese roumor while ago, that orbis will cost about 430 dollars... (report made by a japanese newspaper named : Asahi Shimbun )

Please ignore the title it's the editor's decision. I hope it can help people decide if they should buy a Wii U or not
PS: If anyone is interested in writing reviews (unpaid) PM me. I'm not trying to advertise I just thought some of you guys have really strong and informed opinions and might be interested in reviewing

"Unfortunately, the update isn’t bundled in which is the only head-scratching moment I had setting up."
Nintendo say that consoles manufactured after January 2013 should include all updates already installed but a decent review, you touched on several things older reviews didnt' that some may find useful.

Oh dear. Have you not heard of the GIMMICK called Kinect? Or how Xbox Live AKA subscription based internet for children has nothing but little kiddies online screaming down the mic? Dumb clown.
Another butthurt child trolling Wii U forums. LMAO are you that insecure?
he said get PS4, you say xbox sucks.... uhh K. PS4>xbox they try to rip you off alot less than MS, which plays like the consul version of EA. PS4 has rumored headset gimmik, but thats iffy. and rumored wiiU ripoff gimmik =/. also features modified move/controler parts patten. but will probly feature best graphics and reselution to use on there TV's.

I don't know where you heard that. No one knows the configuration of the Xbox successor or the price of the Playstation successor. The chances are both will have optical drives and both will be blue ray. We also don't know for sure whether Sony's new console will be as expensive as the PS3 was at launch.
It's (PS4) likely to be $399 at launch. But that's just a guess.
