I have a high speed internet connection. I run youtube and other videos on my computer at 1080 P with no problems. Also have a PS3 and 360 and have no issues with Youtube.
Plus Netflix works fine on my Wii U with no lag or buffering, and no games lag.

BUT when i try and play youtube videos, 8 out of 10, play for 15 secs then freeze up. The after 10 secs or longer they run again and do the same freezing up again. Am I missing a setting to adjust?

hmm did you let wii u auto set up your wifi connection?

yes i went through the wi fi steps. nothing else lags, Netflix, Amazon movies, or shows, COD BOPS 2 all run perfect. Its only Youtube that i have the lag issue with.

Are you using the you tube app?

yes using the app thats on the Wii menu. also I activated my Youtube/device on the Wii U

This happened with me too, so I decided to just use YouTube in the internet browser. It actually works a loot better than the YouTube App.

Ah, yeah, the app is broken dookie. Use youtube through the browser instead.

Use the browser, it's much more convenient and a lot better. I can just stop a game and watch youtube at any time!

Screw the app. The app sucks, it isn't even multi-task.
