It is people that visit the forums directed from those sites. So if someone in a Google search clicks on a link that leads to these forums they will show up as a user from Google.

They're the search robots indexing the website.

Yeah I noticed also. I believe it is when people visit the forum directed from those sites such as Google, MSN, Yahoo, Bing. I have no clue, really.

These are called spiders. They are automated accounts, collecting data from the site so that they appear in web searches. The more these bots operate and observe traffic in sites like ours, the more likely they will appear in the first page of web searches. They aren't human users. I assume these bots come from IP.Boards.
Anything else is either a user account or a guest.
