I just don't understan why Ubi never released the Wii U version now and the others later.

Even if it is just one company it still proves your "no companies actually pay attention to those stupid petitions." wrong.

No it just means a bunch of gullible people believed that they paid attention.

my thing is that i dont want to have to buy a system that i dont want namely all the ones except the wii u. i want my wii u wen i get one) to be my main console and not worry about good games not being ported. nintendo games are good but i want all the games for my system not crappy butthurt companies porting crappy version just to make a quick buck. i want it to be my only system. i dont want to HAVE to buy two systems bc of third parties being klazy to make a decent port.

I'm with you man. It would have been really nice to just have one system this time around, but it won't happen. I'm going to have to get another console for all the big third party games.

Well Microsoft has this stupid policy. If they release a game on their platform, it has to be at the same time or first for Microsoft. The other versions can't have exclusive content either.

My main worry for this console is that it will end up gathering dust like me Wii did, i couldn't really care less about exclusivity, what is annoying especially with Rayman, Scibblenauts and to a lesser extent Aliens is that the dates keep getting pushed back and back, this is where Nintendo should step up with some of their games but that doesn't seem to be happening.

It will be interesting to see what happens down the line, at the moment i feel like i've wasted £300 and thats not a childish whine its just how it seems at the moment, i have nothing to play on it at the moment, i should have had Scribblenauts this weekend, then Aliens then Rayman but none of those are now available, i mean what is so fundamentally wrong with Scibblenauts that it can be released in the USA but not over in the UK?

the situation isnt as bad as say ps3 was on launch it does take a considerable time too get really good games released just look at the vita same situation but im betting that will rocket soon with some proper games releasing.

Yep i realise that, ive been buying consoles for years at launch, what is frustrating is the games getting put back and put back, if i had known this in advance i would have hung on till Nintendo got their finger out and released something, either way its very frustrating, thanks god i've got my xbox and PS3 to keep me entertained!

If I were a developer/publisher, I'd tell them to shove it. What's the worst that can happen? You still get to release your game on other platforms and you don't have to worry about additional development costs for a 360 version. At that point, Microsoft would be on the losing end with no version for their console what-so-ever. Their loss.

lol exactly but the higher up want the green and M$ is just a minor set back for them.

Scribblenauts was published by Warner Bros. in the US. Nintendo is publishing it in the EU and UK so blame Nintendo for the delay.

I find it laughable that so many people are naive or gullible enough to believe that Ubisoft actually made there decision based on opinions voiced by the gaming public. Ubisoft is obviously using that as an excuse to justify the delay and make the game multiplatform. At the end of the day its a business decision and nothing to do with what the gaming public want.

Thats all well and good about Scribblenauts but it doesn't explain the delay, i wonder whats wrong with the game, by all accounts units were shipped to retailers.

As for the Rayman thing of course its a business decision but it could turn out to be a risky one for them especially with GTA coming out and the rumoured PS4 and Xbox whatever around a similar time anyway it's not life or death its just annoying!!
