I only want one GC game, Animal Crossing.

I'd like Animal Crossing as well, I didn't get to play that one. I also wouldn't mind Wind Waker and Super Smash Bros Melee coming, two of my favorite GC games.

Once I get the WiiU I will keep the Wii hooked up for playing Gamecube games, as its not like I have anything else to plug into component as its vastly inferior to HDMI.

I am also hoping Dolphin-emu will improve enough to play things like Starfox Adventures flawlessly in 1080p, then I only need the Wii to rip the Gamecube games for use with the emulator.

Now if they released Starfox Adventures upgraded to 1080p then I would definitely buy it, but I just can't see it happening.

I don't understand why Animal Crossing is so addictive to other people. It's like me with Super Mario Galaxy 2. I might rent Super Mario Galaxy, though.

Super Mario Sunshine would be cool, but that is one of the games that utilized the pressure-sensitive triggers, which the Wii U does not have. Maybe there will be some sort of USB adapter that will allow a GameCube controller to be connected.

Mostly Skies of Arcadia (never tried it before, so I would actually buy this), alongside the Metroid Prime games (might seem redundant to re-release them a third time though). Would you control the games with the WiiU controller, or does the WiiU have compatibility with the Gamecube controllers? (I'm thinking the WiiU controller, although since there's only compatibility with one WiiU controller per system, that'd make Melee useless to buy unless there's either online, or a re-done control system...)
