Noting how it's a slightly upgraded Gamecube, it's kind of funny to think that the Wii remote was initially designed as an accessory for the GCN.

As for crazy controllers, check out a few of these prototypes:

I would have absolutlely no idea what to do with that star one.

i see three little buttons plus the star. But, nintendo could proble make it kickass.

I don't think mind control will be available. and are we suggesting completely replacing the controller? because i'm against gaming on my touvh screen iPod touch and that at least has a screen

i don't know if I'll be able to handle this...

I like platformers, and puzzlers,some fighting and some RPGs
I have an N64, a GameCube, a Wii, a PS1, a Gameboy color, a GBA SP and a DS Lite and another Gamecube.

Some of my favourite games are Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Professor Layton series, Yoshi's Island, SMB 3, Super Smash Bros. (and SSB Brawl
) and Animal Crossing.

I am currently playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 and it's awesome.

Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2
Gamecube: Metroid: Prime
N64: Goldeneye 007 and Super Mario 64 (not too much though)
GBA: Yoshi's Island (Super Mario Advance 3) finishing up those bonus levels.
DS: sold (but I would be playing Professor Layton and the Unwound Future because I have all my games but no DS...).

I like Platformers and Puzzles the most.
