I will be the first to admit that the current gen for me has stretched itself too far for my taste. I am simply bored with a hobby of mine which i adored since i was 3 years old with the original NES. I never bought a wii but have played it over a friends house and had a blast with mario kart wii. I simply cannot wait until i get my hands on the WII u. The sheer backlog of Wii games has me salivating. SMG, xenoblade, and the zelda games are just the tip of the iceberg for me. The launch window games announced so far sound pretty good. I haven't touched mass effect 3 yet, so i will be purchasing that, along with NSMBU at launch. Only two things i hope and pray nintendo do.
1. Offer gamecube game on demand service for their eshop, adding a title each month
2. Some form of party chat via the friend codes. This is one of the greatest features of this gen and i hope they add it. It clearly would fit with the Nintendo concept as party will keep kids safe in party chat with their family/friends while others in regular chat can say whatever they want without offending children.
