Why are the Xbox 360 and PS3 still $200 and up?

Those systems are 6-7 years old, going on 8. And somehow they are still priced more than any other generation of consoles during there timespan of 6-7 years.

There old but still very capable technology, I think Sony and MS are jusy trying to milk the last few bucks they can make off those consoles before releasing 720 and Ps4.

Amazon has 3rd party pre orders available for $550 and up!

They seem to be by reputable sellers, maybe a chance for some people that want a Wii U bad enough but are not able to get one for the normal price through the store.

I just can't support most of the launch titles...

Zombi U and NSMBU is cool and all, but I think Nintendo is dropping the ball by not launching with more established games, such as Mario Galaxy or a 3d Mario game. Maybe even Mario Kart, Zelda or something.

I actually plan on cancelling all my pre ordered games "NSMBU, Zombi U, and Pikmin, and just putting it towards Tekken, in which I see to be maybe the only decent launch title.
