This was a pretty old problem of mine that was fixed by moving the Wii U to a different TV. But I was just wondering, with the Wii U a few months old now, if anyone has a solution to this.

 

 

Note: When I say lag, I mean the pointer teleports all over the screen.

 

This is a pretty old video, but it shows that when my TV was on, my wii U pointer lagged like crazy. It wasn't like any interference caused it because I did a test where I hid behind my couch away from any interferences and used the sensor bar on my gamepad while the TV was on. It lagged a lot. Then I turned the TV off and went back behind the couch, and it was smooth and fine!

 

Annoyed with how much it lagged, I moved my Wii U to a different HDTV and it didn't lag at all. Even when the TV was on, it was completely smooth.

 

This is a pretty old problem, and I'm not sure if it was fixed by any patch, but too lazy to bring it downstairs, has anyone seen this problem happen? And also, why? I'll probably tell what kind of TV's I was using for both tests when I have the time.

Instead of being smart and buying an original copy, I bought it online and when it's installing to the home screen it stops at like 15% for hours. Fix?
