In Topic: Gamepad screen busted, Nintendo won't fix it for free

Seems like some people don't read entire threads before posting anymore. I wonder if this is a generational gap. Probably, because it would also explain the horrible reading comprehension evident here. Read: duh it was my fault, I was angry/sad/disappointed, and shocked that it broke so easily.

And to the guy that said it objectively didn't do what I'm saying it did: why would I lie on a forum that has no relevance to the actual repair? Cmon guys. Logic. Its easy.

Anyway, If anyone is interested to know, the rep told me the repair would cost about $95. As I said, apparently I'm the first repair in America. I'm just happy it all worked out.

Well, of course I am responsible. That's not the point. I was just shocked at how easily the thing busted. Never broke a touchscreen in my life.

Anyway, since typing this out, and speaking on the phone to reps for about an hour, they decided to cover the damage because it is a new console and because I wasn't a total ass (i'm assuming). Also noted that this is the very first repair instance of a wiiu yet in North America. I guess that's kinda cool in a weird backwards way!

All's well that ends well right?
