Gamepad freezing/locking up
24 December 2012 - 08:18 PM
This is getting old. There is no reset button so I have to hard reset the console by pulling the plug. Now the gamepad is laggy and seem's to lose connection to the console rather easy. Even if the pad is 1 foot away it's laggy! What the hell is this? How do I fix the issue?
Mario Party 2 on Club Nintendo - Wii Ware
21 December 2012 - 08:47 AM
I want to buy it off Club Nintendo for the virtual console but I was wondering if a wiimote would work with it or the game pad? Or do I need to get a pro-controller?
Edit- It says you need a Wii (just got rid of mine). Can MP2 and 1080 not be purchased for the Wii U?

Wii U Game Pads are now available for sale individually in the UK for £89. That price tag translates into $144 US dollars.

I don't see this price being too justifiable. Now if it could make me some coffee, then ok. This is stupid.

Pokemon Snap + Wii U gamepad = :D
18 December 2012 - 12:40 PM
Think about it. A Pokemon Snap 2 on the Wii U would be amazing considering you can use the game pad as the camera. I remember when the Nintendo 64 had a special Blue and Yellow Pokemon edition console that came with a copy of Pokemon Snap. Good times!

Why is there no Reset button?
18 December 2012 - 09:51 AM
This boggles the mind. I see no logical reason to remove the Reset button or not have one at all. Every Nintendo Consoles (we aren't talking about Handhelds) has had a Reset button.
The other day my Wii U locked up while the Miiverse was loading. I pressed the power button on the gamepad to shut it and the system off and that didn't work. The Gamepad turned off but the console was still on as the display was still on the TV screen. The console was hard locked and I had to pull the power cord out to turn it off.
More bad decision making on Nintendo's part.
