Can Wii-U be connected to Computer Monitor?

Hi, I don't have a decent HD Monitor yet on my computer, but I was just wondering if I could connect the Wii-U to my video card that has an HDMI port and then export it somehow to my LCD Screen. Is it possible? Thanks!
