In Topic: The Wii U Power Debate
03 July 2011 - 10:22 AM
Hi guys, real quick thread. I want to know why everyone is praising the WiiU for it's power (it is cool the big N is finally putting power in their system). To put it into terms of this: Saying the Wii U is more powerful then the PS3 or Xbox 360 isn't that surprising. It's exactly like saying "the PS1 is has more power than the SNES..." or "The Xbox 360 has more power than the Gamecube and PS2..." Well of course because it is another generation! It's not that surprising. I think that Microsoft and Sony will put even more power into their 8th generation console. So it is nice to have alot of more power in the new console but the point I am making is it should be because it's another generation...
In Topic: Your worst glitch in a game?

Slugfest 2004 GC, apart from being the best sport game ever, it had a game changing glitch. My friend and I bet 20 bucks on this game. Bottom of the 7th (we were going up to 7 innings), a runner on 2nd for me. I hit a ball in left field. Thinking it will be an out I have my runner stay at 2nd. My friend tries to do a "cocky catch" and misses the ball, it continues to bounce. It bounced all the way to the warning track until the Green Monster (giant wall at Fenway Park) stood in its path. HERE IS THE GLITCH: The ball rolls through the wall allowing my runner and batter to score giving me the 20 bucks i needed.

Honestly, if you guys like the Red Hot Chili Peppers I highly suggest Scar Tissue. It's a biography about Anthony Kiedis's (lead singer). Through growing up, Drugs, Sex and the whole punk rock scene in the early 1980's, to when the book was written in 04. Even if you aren't a fan I really suggest it. You become addicted. He sure had a crazy life that I am glad he shared.
Be warned: the book uses explicit language, and has 2 nude photo's
