#190408 Wii U Bloom and Boom

Posted by NintendoReport on 05 April 2013 - 07:46 AM

Yes, that's right folks. The Wii U is blooming like a flower in Spring. It was a rough winter, cold, windy and the air felt dead. Now, with spring here, things are warming up and in a few months others will start feeling the heat!

Reasons I love my Wii U:

  • MiiVerse / Community
  • Off TV Gameplay & Gamepad Features
  • I realize it's more capable than even I originally thought hardware and software wise.
  • Selection of games improving and currently I am having trouble deciding what game to spend more time on! (Lego City, Monster Hunter to just name a couple!)
  • Connectivity/integration with 3DS (loving this with Monster Hunter!)
  • My wife likes to game with me, especially in Nintendoland!

What are the reasons you love your Wii U and what are you looking forward too?

#187622 Hybrid Downloadable Games?

I still think they should just stop being cheap and go back to cartridges. The only advantage discs have over cartridges are that they are cheaper. It's not like size is a problem anymore either, because they could fit 2 terabytes in a N64-sized cartridge nowadays. Faster loading times and being able to save stuff to the cartridge (imagine downloading DLC to it) are just a few benefits of cartridges.

#176899 The Wii U is 32-bit?

x86 is 32 bit..... x64 is 64 bit

x64 is more of a buzzword.
It's still based on the (80)x86 architecture.
It's still x86 at its core.

Random pointless information™

PPC is better than x86 because x86 has useless junk clogging it up making it slower than all balls in winter.

Oh, inb4 I'm proven wrong by wikipediites.
