In Topic: Will Wii U Change the "Hardcore" Opinion?

Kids games? In what way? That there is no unnecessary blood and violence? I don't understand these kind of people who cry softcore. A game is only great if it has great depth, in my opinion, and Nintendo has seldom let me down.

In Topic: Wii U competition sooner then expected?

It depends on what you want. Do you want to pay a wad of cash for online to be able to play with a bunch of 13 year olds who trash talk, and play games that are generic, or do you want to play a console that will undoubtedly be an innovative success and has games made by the big N? I don't think there will be much of a problem with competition.

In Topic: Ghost Recon Online free with Wii U?

There's no way a game not made by Nintendo would be free with the hardware. I would love it if they made a new Mario game and included that with the hardware. It would be awesome if they went back to their roots and included a REAL game with the hardware, like Mario 64 with the N64.

To me their quality of games has dropped ever since they left Nintendo, Nuts & Bolts was nowhere near Banjo Kazooie or Tooie and those were 2 generations old games. Kameo had some nice reviews but it had so much more potential, the early stages of the game when it was being developed for Nintendo, looked beyond what the game eventually became. Now they are focused on creating Kinect games, with games like Kinect Sports.

However much it pains me to say, as back in the earlier Nintendo years I saw RareWare as the best of the best, they have lost their touch.

Rare WAS the best. Their games were incredible. Goldeneye 64 was my first introduction to their games, followed by Banjo-Kazooie and Conker's Bad Fur Day. Those games changed my life. I don't understand why they don't remake those games with improved graphics, frame rates, and music quality. It would change my life once again.

DVD playback would be pointless in my opinion.
