I'll get one once a decent game comes out on it.

This also illustrates why it was insanity to delay Rayman Legends. If you have a captive audience just looking for any good game to buy you can make a killing.
The retailing of the Wii U in the UK is poor. If you look in any supermarket the Wii U games are mixed in with old Wii titles and you're lucky if there's one console boxed set on display. Couple that with relatively little advertising and it not a big surprise it's been a damp squib here.
However I'm optimistic. It's a great console and as more games come out and more people buy it or see it in action it will drive more sales. Also as it's at least £200 cheaper than an Xbone bundle…

Without an orchestrated soundtrack, this score is not plausible. Can't listen to this stuff.
Wow, you must be a real audiophile. I bet you're, like, totally sophisticated. Can't subject your ears to that crap. Man, impressive. I bet there are so many ridiculously crappy things in life that are just nowhere near good enough for your refined tastes

I cant believe how awesome the Wii U games look. I haven't been a Nintendo fan since SNES, but I bought a Wii U on a whim. I never liked the original Wii but I am hooked on the Wii U.
I love the New super Mario bros U + Luigi U, and im hyped for the new 3D Mario coming out in just over a week. (yeah im 32 and hyped for Mario) I even used EB games credit to buy the Mario and luigi Wii remote plus controllers!
Cant wait to play the new Mario kart, smash bros, bayonetta, and donkey kong. Also hoping for a new Star Fox one day. I've never played any Zelda games other than on the NES and my buddy gave me his Windwaker HD code so im looking forward to playing it.
ANyway long story short, I'm loving the Wii U (minus lack of library) right now.

Console wars really are the worst thing ever.
the fanboys themselfs suck, other than that i just look at it for entertainment. only part i really might have a issue with is microsoft, even though i dont have a issue with the actual xbox1, though i do think it was much better designed for its purpose than the PS4.
with sony, i will wait till the PS4 got a good collection of exclusives before getting, unless sony goes bankroupt to soon and fails to hand of the playstation brand to someone else.

Hi it's my 1st post as I must hate myself then as I pulled the trigger on a Wii U on Monday & it will be here tomorrow. I got a bundle with Mario U & Luigi U for under £200. I was after a PS4 but the launch line up is terrible and the only kids game Knack today has received many poor reviews. I can't wait to have a go with it after work tomorrow, the kids don't know I have ordered one either It's going to be fun!!! As someone who has never owned a Wii I am looking forward to the great Wii games, Virtual Console and the great Wii U titles. I see this system as quality over quantity. I also have a Nintendo Dsi in the house which my kids love, a PS3 which is a good machine with plenty of life left and a Vita which I really like. I just hope this system sells like hot cakes whilst the PS4 & XB1 are sold out with Mario world 3d looking spectacular.
Thanks for reading my random musings, hurry up tomorrow I want my Wii U!!!!
Awesome! You're going to have a lot of fun. And welcome to the boards!
